A small neighborhood-based nonprofit organization wanted to raise unrestricted funds to sustain operations. The organization had one full-time manager and part-time administrative support.

S. Friedman Associates first conducted a mini-feasibility study to gauge the level of support among select community leaders. We then worked with a volunteer development committee to identify top prospects, and trained the committee on how to cultivate prospects and ask for a major gift.

The committee achieved its goal of raising over $120,000 in less than six months. Ingredients of this success included a dedicated fundraising committee led by the board president.
