S. Friedman Associates provides a range of services with one purpose: generating a sustainable fundraising base for clients. While many are familiar with foundation funding and mail appeals, we are committed to helping each client develop a diversified base of support from individuals, foundations, and corporations. All our services are customized to fulfill the goals of the organization, and include:
Audits. Assessment of existing development programs and communications that support the organization's fundraising activities.
Research. Overview and in-depth study of the grant and funding programs of foundations and corporations, with customized research of individuals also available.
Grant Writing. Preparation of grant applications and management of the entire process, which includes coordinating prospect cultivation and submitting completed proposals.
Feasibility Studies. Examination and determination of feasibility for major gift initiatives and capital campaigns.
Preparation of Fundraising Plans. Comprehensive fundraising plans are prepared for nonprofits with a range of fundraising capabilities. The objective with existing programs is to build on current success and initiate new programs to expand funding opportunities. For clients just beginning to fundraise, the goal is a step-by-step plan for achieving results within a reasonable time frame.
Fundraising Implementation. Including development of prospect lists; writing copy for mail appeals and brochures; developing corporate sponsorship programs; and project management.
Board, Volunteer, and Staff Training. Addressing issues such as the board's role in fundraising; who to ask for support; and how to ask for contributions.
Campaign Management. S. Friedman Associates has unique campaign experience as both professionals and volunteers. Work can include:
