Samuel
Friedman has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector, having provided
leadership as an executive director, created and implemented programs,
developed resources, and helped nonprofit organizations build constituencies.
He has recruited, managed and coached hundreds of volunteers to fundraise,
survey historic structures and be successful
leaders.
Sam writes and speaks about fundraising, board participation and nonprofit management issues. He is known for his 15-minute board training sessions and is the co-author of “The Everything Fundraising Book.”
A Certified Fund Raising Executive, Sam is the founder of The Philadelphia Area Nonprofit Independent Consultants, an association of consultants who provide services from writing, communications and website design to fundraising and administrative support.
A consultant affiliate with The Nonprofit Center at La Salle University’s School of Business, Sam is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Partnership for Philanthropic Planning of Greater Philadelphia. He holds a Bachelor of Science in architecture from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
